Can AreaIQ find something worth investigating for one million businesses in 30 days?
The challenge has not opened. AreaIQ has no ingestion source connected yet, so there is no live global monitoring behind it. This page is here so the plan is visible, and it says so rather than counting checks against invented developments. You can still run a check and see the scoring work.
I built something slightly ridiculous.
Give AreaIQ a business website and it tries to find what changed in the world that could create an opportunity for that company.
I am going to see whether it can do that for one million businesses in 30 days.
Let us see what your business might be missing.
The experiment
- The question
- Can it find something worth investigating?
- The target
- 1,000,000 businesses
- The window
- 30 days
- What counts
- A company checked, not a signup
- What is measured
- Whether the match was worth knowing
This is a challenge AreaIQ has set itself. It is not a statement that one million businesses use AreaIQ, and no figure on this site will ever say that unless it is true and measured.
Where the challenge stands
No figures are shown yet. A counter needs a real number from real analytics, and nothing on this deployment can serve one. When it can, this section will show businesses checked, countries, industries, radars activated and the share of matches rated worth knowing, and every one of them will be a measured figure. A placeholder number here would be the first lie on the site.
What a check actually does
You give AreaIQ a company website. AreaIQ builds a profile of what that company does, matches the profile against the developments it holds, and shows you the strongest matches with the reasoning and the source behind each one.
If nothing scores highly enough, AreaIQ says so. It would rather show you nothing than pretend something is relevant.
AreaIQ is an intelligence discovery service, not a complete record of global events. AreaIQ monitors selected public, licensed and third-party sources and uses automated systems to identify developments that may be relevant to your business. Coverage may be incomplete or delayed. Sources can change, become unavailable or contain errors, and automated interpretation may also be incorrect. Always verify material information using the original sources before making commercial, financial, investment, legal or operational decisions.
